About Westward Hats

Westward Hats began as a small side project in May 2022 and has since grown into a thriving business with more than 2,000 hats sold. The brand was founded by Emily, whose long-standing connection to horses and riding shaped her appreciation for functional, well-made hats.

After moving from Missouri to Montana, Emily saw an opportunity to create something of her own. With a strong interest in design and the support of two close friends, she built the foundation for what would become Westward Hats.

Today, the focus remains simple: offer durable, wide-brim hats that are easy to wear and made to last. Each piece reflects a balance of practicality and clean, Western-inspired style, designed for everyday use rather than passing trends.

What size are the hats?

All wide-brim hats are 58 cm and feature an adjustable inner band, unless otherwise stated in the product description. Please see the sizing chart page for size conversions.

What material are the hats?

Wide brim hats-Vegan suede or 65% cotton 35% polyester. Vegan suede ball caps.
